People have faith in its annihilating capacity as they are aware of consequences of adopting Bt Cotton.Reduced fertility, resistant pests, soil pollution and destruction of gene pool are some adversities caused by GM foods.GEAC has given a green signal but commons still fear whether to eat it or not?This confusion still aggravates as government and people were pressing for naturally grown foods and green super markets were initiated first in Pune.

People don't understand that science is on their side.GM foods are developed as they are resistant to their pests.But in due course pests develop resistance and equip themselves to attack these GM plants.So, in this battle naturally grown plants are the winners as they remain unaffected by the pests and dominate the fields!!

This serves purposes of both commons and the scientists to save the nature.What a backward integration or is it forward??
