The Brinjal speaks...

The poor and ordinary brinjal had the following enemies viz.,
  • the fat and ugly worms living comfortably within like a king
  • human being who eat it ruthlessly and continuously
  • pests which eat it
  • pesticides sprayed on it against the pests.
Bt brinjal claims to have cut down on three out of four of the above mentioned enemies. Human beings reign victoriously... on one condition however, that Bt toxin produced would eat the victors over time.
Inference: The brinjal is badly cornered everywhere

In marketing someone has defined ' marketing myopia'. It is the coloured perceptions regarding the business resulting in shortsightedness for the market. In other words, the inability to foresee due to excess importance to short term needs. In case a definition is needed to understand the Bt brinjal , heregoes one from my side... 'greed myopia'. It is the inability and lethargy of governments due to focus on short run benefits at the cost of long range and invaluable assets. I other words... not caring for 'the citizen'.

What would the poor and ordinary brinjal comment on this issue?
Maybe it will say, 'PESTS ARE GOOD !'
