The popularity of IPL has grown massive proportions since it's inception. The hype is such that one of the most popular webesite www.youtube.com has decided to telecast the 3rd season IPL. IPL 2010 will be more attractive than the previous one. Largest video sharing website YouTube will broadcast IPL 3 live. YouTube did not broadcast any major sporting event till now. They will start their journey with IPL. I am sure that the increasing popularity of IPL has become successful to attract Internet giant Google to sign with them. It is thought as the success of IPL Chairman Lalit Modi. He is working hard to make cricket more popular and increase its popularity around the world. Not only that but also it is anticipated that more than 200 million people will enjoy the tournament live. Last year IPL was held in South Africa because of political instability in India as general election was held at that time. However, the good news is that Indian people can enjoy this biggest tournament in their home soil. Official members are planning to make the IPL 3 much bigger than the past. One more matches will be played this year. Two losing semi-finalist teams will play against each other to select the third position. Four new venues have been selected for IPL 2010. These are- Navi Mumbai, Visakhapatnam, Ahmedabad and Dharamsala. These venues will host some games of the Mumbai Indians, Deccan Chargers, Rajasthan Royals and Kings XI Punjab. IPL 2010 will start with the opening match between defending champion Deccan Chargers and Kolkata Knight Riders in Mumbai. On the other hand, two semi-final matches will be played in Bangalore. Navi Mumbai will host the final and third-playoff matches.
