Out of the box thinking...

Quite a few days back, one of our blog mates had mentioned about a case where in an IIM graduate chose to pick the path which is quite unexplored and untrodden. An article of the same gravity caught the attention of my eyes which talked about several grads from premier management institutes following the footprints left by the 'socially conscious entrepreneurs'. Shalabh Agarwal from IIM-Indore plans to start a firm which would deal with collecting and disposing and recycling of solid wastes which calls for an investment of around Rs 50 lakh-1 crore. He is of the view that Indian municipalities are not adept at handling these wastes. Another lad from IIm-A, Vishal Doshi, who is doing his PGPX, is wishing to manufacture and supply components for wind turbines in India with an investment of a whopping amount of RS 14 crore. along with two of his partners.
They had been drawing hefty packages in reputed MNCs, but the different thought thier mind had provoked which had a factor of social conciousness in them compelled them to choose that path. Its obvious that they would reach the other end with a 'feather on their cap' because they believe in the fact that 'ALL THAT GLITTERS CAN BE TURNED INTO GOLD' rather than chasing the common beliefs. Wish them all the very best
