The Copenhagen Climate Summit has failed to bind any country of the world to mitigate the climate change. Many countries identified as villains because they were not agrred with this summit accord. The Copenhagen Accord was basically between the US and countries like Brazil ,India, China and South Africa, but this accord did not get formal apporval of the Copenhagen Summit.

The Copenhagen Accord a way for future climate summits. It will bring together the carbon emitting countries and they stratagies for Glowal Warming in coming days. It calls upon the developed countries to reduce carbon emission by 2010. It is expected that president Obama will lead for the US this regard and after that other nations such as Europian Union, Japan. Many countries are agreed with such targets and would have announced them at Copenhagen itself. Such agreement also recognised developing countries like India with low per capita emission and should be provided incentives to continue on a low per capita emission pathway.

for getting success to mitigate strategies the accord has fixed a target of $ 30 billionto be transformed by the developed countries to the developing countries over next year and this would be augmented to the threshold of $100 billion each year from 2020 onwards. A high level panel will examine to achieve such objective. The Copenhagen Accord has created possibility for an accelerated approach on global climate negotiation from 2010 onwards. Critics of Copenhagen Accord have also criticised the decision of government for cutting domestic carbon emission around 20-25% but reduction in the use of hydrocarbon fuels can only be good for countries.
