south India is becoming one of the most promising destination in the world, in terms of investment,manpower, and ample business opportunities available.The financial year 2008-09 has undergone a difficult situation for global economy.The economic downturn has not affected India in quite the same way as the united states and the rest of the world.the economy of south India is getting stronger and growing every day.With growing middle class and an english language business culture, south India offers immense business opportunities for both domestic as well as international markets

south india is emerging fast growing market and a new destination for american business after china.We are really different in terms of companies that are coming to us . We really see a wide range of industries here for us to carry on our business.We can see now a days lot of foreign companies especially those coming to india for first time choose to go to New Delhi and Mumbai .For example take the case of chennai where there is lot of manufacturing and automotive factories, so any thing related to machine tools, automotive companies , textiles etc those companies will come to chennai for business.

As new generation industrial and techno parks has transformed south india to a greater extend.More over the special initiatives taken by the respective governments in providing the smaller cities with infrastructural facilities and creation of SEZ'S have played a vital role in promoting these small towns in to cities of the future.The perfomance of banks in south india is tremendous .The contribution of these banks to the growth of the country's economy has been very significant.The competition generated in the banking industry has brought about many revolutions and creativity, even the national banks are catching up the latest trends and improving day by day.The health care industry and education system has witnessed a phenomenal growth during the last decade.A few south based private health care providers have played a major role in up liftment of health care system in the country.

As per my opinion even though economy is growing ,the rate of pace of growth is slow when we compare with economy of other countries.The government should take necessary initiatives to attract more FDI's. The state government in southern states should take steps to improve and develop the infrastructure to become the the most promising economy in the world.
