gm brinjal

the government has given its decision on the bt brinjal, all the agitation from groups who have no idea about technology or agriculture, should be actually ignored,and even if strong agitations exist government should first start the cultivation in selected regions of india for two or more seasons and after this the scientists and the government will have adequate data to conduct studies regarding the affect oh bt brinjal on human health. the scientists from geac actually support this technology gm technology will be the perfect answer to indias farmland problems like food security,nutrition security,losses due to pest.and even the downfall in agriculture due to the adverse climatic conditions. the gm technology will open newer venture in agriculture sector where youngesters can make a career.as a biotech engineer i would say this gm technology will really be a boon for the agriculture sector as india is an agricultural based economy, the inclusion of technology in agriculture should be supported as a nation,moreand more investment,and the involvement is required as a nation, therefore i would like to ask u why to oppose a technology which actually has not yet been employed and which will actually solve many of the problems,everytime we say changes are good so why cant we give this new technology a chance as i said earlier,if it does'nt workout we can simply change to our old techniques,
